Gold Medal at San Francisco Chronical Wine Competition. The color of the wine is of a light violet crayon. It has aromas of strawberry/rhubarb jam, coffee bean, tobacco and fresh pressed pomegranates. On the palate, the wine is dominated by red, lush fruit flavors, almost like fruit punch. Supported by natural satiny tannins. Pair this Dolcetto with rosemary chicken or pulled pork sliders, pesto pizza and lasagna. Also GREAT with savory appetizers and soups.
