Tie Clip - Polish Hussar

Gold and antique silver plated tie clip of a Polish Hussar. The tie clip and the laurel leaf wreath are gold plated while the hussar figure and banner are of an antique silver plated finish. Between the 16th and 18th centuries, the Polish Hussars were a primary part of the Polish Army; first developed as a formation of light cavalry, then later transformed into heavy cavalry.
