Held for 7 years - in a combination of 25% new American and 75% neutral American oak - then bottled, this rich and full-bodied wine is a dark and brooding specimen to truly behold. Ripe and herbal aromas of wild raspberry and blueberries intermingle with oak whiffs of coconut. Fans of Cabernet and Malbec take note! For the table it will rock with any grilled meats and meat sauces and for the cellar it can improve for another 5-7 years. 2017 Estate Reserve Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley $70 - A lush, fruit-driven style of Pinot Noir encompasses the 2nd vintage from our Ritchie adjacent estate vineyard. Aromas of dark cherries and spice coupled with super smooth tannins makes this wine a Pinot liver’s dream. Perfect with a salmon steak off the grill or a mushroom risotto. Only 100 cases produced.
