Unique, balanced and complex. 2021 Zinfandel , Russian River Valley - Aromas of raspberry, strawberry, black cherry, and hints of pie crust notes jump from the glass. With aeration, notes of spices, and hints of peppercorn emerge. Juicy throughout the length of the palate, the wine tastes of blackberry, raspberry, and hints of caramel. The palate is round and filling with a little grip from the tannin on the finish. 2022 Chard-O-Miner - Boone Dry - Not Sweet. 70% Chardonnay, 30% Gewürztraminer. Exotic aromas of poached pear, golden yellow apple and starfruit. Apricot and peach add another interesting layer in the profile. The classic Gewürztraminer nose of rose petals ties everything together and provides elegance and lift. On the palate, the Chardonnay immediately has great presence and mouthfeel, and is like an elixir.
