Stunning Silver Maple wooden bowl made from an urban Colorado tree. The outside was painted with two different colors of iridescent paint, and then using a special technique I blended the paint together. Iridescent paint gives the bowl it's own luminous, faux-finish effect, and to some it reminds them of a tie dye pattern. The inside was left natural and is perfectly smooth. The pictures show the bowl from all 4 sides - don't forget to click on the picture to see an enlarged photo that shows the paint pattern better.
The bowl measures 8-3/4" x 2-5/8".
The bowl was finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil inside and out to give it a food safe and durable finish. To me quality is not just in how the bowl is made or what type of wood is used, quality also means using the best finish you can if you want your bowl to last and look good for years. Hand wash only, use and care instructions are provided.
