In this step, we’ll ask you to tell us more about your sales tax options, shipping options, and shipping regions, if you happened to have these columns in your file. Please note, you will only be prompted for these items if they appear in your file. In this example, we had a column indicating that the items were taxable (“true”), and we will map that to mean “I will collect sales tax in cash”. We also had a column indicating that items were shippable (“true”), and we’ll map that to mean “I will ship product to the buyer, paid in cash”. We didn’t have a shipping region column, so there won’t be anything to select.
Further down, we’ll ask you to choose your default tax and shipping options. Regardless of whether you had any tax/shipping columns in your file, we’ll ask you for a default for sales tax, shipping option and shipping region that we can use in case we don’t see the option in your file for one or more items.
In this example, we set the default tax option to “Sales tax is included in the barter amount”, the default shipping option to “I will ship product to the buyer, included in barter amount”, and set the default shipping region to “United States only”.
Once you’ve made your selections, click “Save tax and shipping options” to continue.
