STEP 7
In this next step, you’ll “map” your columns to the IMS Marketplace – we need your help making the connection between what you labeled your data and how we store it. On the left, you will see the various IMS Marketplace Columns, and on the right for each of these options is a drop down containing your file’s column headings. Please select the relevant column, if it exists, that matches the IMS Marketplace column. Most importantly, set your Unique ID / SKU so we can keep track of your different products, your title, your description, price and quantity. Assuming you have a category name and/or category ID, let us know so we can help you more easily categorize your items on the IMS Marketplace.
If you have columns for variations (color, size, material, etc.), please select those as well. The IMS Marketplace allows for up to three variation columns. The “Variation X Name” would be the column where you describe the type of variation (such as size or type), and the “Variation X Value” would be where you tell us the item’s value (such as large, red, wood, etc.).
The sales tax option, shipping option, and shipping region are optional, but if you have different sales tax options (tax included vs tax to be paid separately
If you have one or more columns containing http:// or https:// addresses for your item’s photos, make sure you select them here as well. If you do, we can automatically download and attach the photos to your ad for you. If you happen to have an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number), let us know which column we can find it, and we can use it to retrieve the primary photo for your item.
The final 8 items all pertain to contact information – if you happen to have different contact information depending on the item, you can include it in your upload file, otherwise you can leave these blank and we’ll ask in a later step for your contact info to apply to all of your ads.
At the bottom of this page, click “Save Column Mappings” to
save your selections and continue.
